2nd year in a row Cash Shank wins the Grand Champion in Kata ages 10 to 13 at Grandmaster Patrick Stelly's, The Big Show Karate Tournament, in Beau Bridge, Louisiana.
What can I say about this young man? He never ceases to amaze me. He is so naturally gifted and yet works so very hard to improve and better himself in everything he does. His school work and grades are top notch, he plays football basketball, baseball and karate and does ALL of them at 100%, ALWAYS. I can't say enough about the love he shares with everyone around him. He is ALWAYS in such a wonderful and joyful mood. It's contagious and infectious and brings a warmth and smile to everyone.
I'm so so very proud of this young man and all of his hard work. I can't wait to see where he goes from here

WOW! WOW! WOW! Everyone please give Cash Shank from Full Circle Martial Arts and Yoga LLC ,our very own FIRST GRAND CHAMPION in Kata a round of applause! Not only did he get First place in Kata (form) and 3rd place in Sparring (fighting, but then he topped it off and won the GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP for Kata at the Big Show Karate Tournament in Lafayette, LA, hosted by Sensei Patrick Stelly of Patrick's School of Martial Arts.

"Saturday Cash had his 1st karate tournament. All of his hard work finally paid off! To say I'm proud would be an understatement! He practices day in and day out. It may be in the driveway at 8pm, a store parking lot, his dojo, or the park, but regardless he is practicing. He got to bring home 3 trophies....1st place for kata, 3rd place in sparring and the Grandchampionship!!!! So proud of him and his entire dojo! A huge thank you to John Miller at Full Circle Martial Arts and Yoga! This would not have been possible without your time and dedication. It's official Full Circle Martial Arts and Yoga LLC the results are in and we have 5 students who finished in the TOP THREE IN THE WORLD in their divisions in Kata and Kumite (Sparring). Words cannot say enough, just how proud I am of all six of the students who competed and their families who came out to support them. They all have worked so very, very, very hard to get ready for the competition. Words cannot express how proud I am of each and everyone of them! It takes a lot of courage to go compete. It takes even more to go compete at the World Championship in NOLA with the USKA. I'm so EXTREMELY PROUD of all of these young men- Seth Dubuisson, Nolan Nguyen, Liam Smith, Cash Shank, Abram Meyers, and Cole Smith, you all have a bright future ahead of you. Always remember to train hard and be humble.
